When the Elephant Comes Crashing Through the Roof- Hallie Flanagan Theatre, Grinnell College
This production is a devised movement piece created by choreographer and performance artist Celeste Miller.
Celeste and I collaborated on the creation of the production, including story, visual elements, and staging. As this is a devised work, I created a number of properties, puppets, and scenic ideas that led to staging and chorographic ideas. Additionally, Celeste would create choreography, staging, and text that led to new scenic and projection ideas.
In the end, the piece served as an example of the statement that a designer directs and a director designs.
